The law firm Orth Kluth has been named Germany's Law Firm of the Year for Regulated Industries at the annual JUVE Awards 2021.

The traditional gala took place yesterday evening at Frankfurt's Alte Oper in front of more than 500 invited guests from law firms and companies. Germany's leading law firms in the various fields of law as well as legal departments were honoured. 

After being nominated in the field of regulated industries together with four other law firms, the team led by Dr. Anselm Grün and Dr. Michael Sitsen was able to convince the JUVE Awards jury. In the laudatory speech it says: "The advice on the public transport rescue umbrella recently brought Orth Kluth a lot of attention and praise. But it is above all the mandate from Mobility Inside that raises the work in the transport sector to a new, comprehensive level: because the networking platform for mobility offers now also relies on the law firm in corporate law and other areas of law. This means a breakthrough for the full-service mobility team, which grew out of the regulatory work of Berlin partner Dr. Anselm Grün. Competitors praise him above all for his litigation. In the dispute with DB Netz, he won a much-noticed victory before the Federal Supreme Court, which strengthens the position of private railways in Germany."

The entire team around Dr. Anselm Grün and Dr. Michael Sitsen is very pleased about the exceptional recognition of their achievements and celebrated the award together until the early hours of the morning in the Alte Oper.

Orth Kluth's Mobility Team is a cross-practice group of lawyers who advise clients on regulatory and public procurement issues in the fields of public transport, local rail transport and rail freight transport, and also offer legal solutions in the areas of transport transition, electric mobility, alternative mobility providers, new forms of mobility and digitalisation.

The JUVE Awards are considered the most important industry award in the German legal market and are presented by a jury of JUVE Verlag after extensive research.
