Marieke Schwarz advises clients in the areas of public commercial law and public administrative law (including procedural and litigation law). Her main areas of expertise are public construction and planning law (including waste and pollution control legislation) as well as state aid and subsidy law. She also advises clients on state organisation, municipal and (state) constitutional law. Marieke Schwarz has a strong track record in the mobility (public and private transport), broadband roll-out and digital transformation sectors.

Marieke Schwarz joined Orth Kluth as a lawyer in 2014 and was appointed Salary Partner in 2020.

She studied law at Rheinische Friedrich-Wilhelms University in Bonn and completed her legal clerkship in the district of the Cologne Higher Regional Court. She subsequently worked as a research assistant at Gleiss Lutz. Marieke Schwarz successfully completed the specialist lawyer course for Administrative Law (Fachanwalt für Verwaltungsrecht) in 2017. As accredited administrative law specialist, she also has special expertise in administrative law issues.
