
Felix Meurer advises clients on IT and data law, on legal issues of telecommunications and telemedia law as well as on copyright law with IT-related aspects (e.g. software law).
He joined Orth Kluth as a lawyer in 2020.
Felix Meurer studied law at the Ruhr-University Bochum. Already during his studies he worked as a research assistant in law firms with a focus on IT law/media law. Felix Meurer completed his legal clerkship at the Higher Regional Court of Düsseldorf, focusing on the areas of IT-/IP law and the interfaces between law and economy. Among others, he worked for the Ministry of Economics of North Rhine-Westphalia and Orth Kluth.
Felix Meurer is also focused on advising start-ups (HealthTech, FinTech) as well as on new technological developments (e.g. distributed ledger technologies, digital payment).
In addition to his work as a lawyer, Felix Meurer is teaching e-commerce law at the Berlin University of Applied Sciences (HTW) in the summer semester of 2023.
