Hans-Gerd Meister operates in the field of criminal compliance. He joined Orth Kluth at the beginning of 2018 as part of the criminal compliance team, having previously worked for VBB Rechtsanwälte Verjans Böttger Berndt, a law firm specialising in commercial and tax criminal law, since 2008. From 1973 to 2008, he served as a judge and committee member in a Grand Criminal Chamber and, most recently, as Chairman of a court of lay assessors.

Hans-Gerd Meister studied law at the University of Cologne and received his Doctorate in Law from the University of Münster.
