Orth Kluth has created a new position in business development and recruited Dominic Krohne from the US law firm Squire Patton Boggs. As Director of Business Development & Strategy, he will work with the partnership to further expand the firm's strong market position in Germany, focusing in particular on the expansion of the Berlin office and the area of legal tech.

One focus in business development will be on the digital and practice-oriented solutions Orth Kluth has already developed for clients. With his recruitment, the law firm continues to ambitiously and consistently implement its strategic growth plan. The law firm only moved into larger premises in Berlin's Europacity between the main railway station and the government district in May last year and intends to expand further there.

Dominic Krohne has extensive knowledge of the German and international legal market. For the past 15 years, he has worked for the US law firm Squire Patton Boggs and its British predecessor Hammonds in Berlin. There, as Head of Business Development & Marketing Germany, he led the business development, marketing and communications activities for the three German offices and the global German practice group for almost eight years. He was also an entrepreneur and founder of several start-ups, which he led as managing partner or COO.
