Marieke Schwarz advises clients on public business administrative law (including procedural and litigation law). Her main areas of expertise are public construction and planning law, state aid and subsidy law as well as environmental law (including waste legislation and contaminated sites). She also advises on telecommunications law as well as substance and product law. Marieke Schwarz has a particular industry experience in the areas of mobility (public and private transport), broadband expansion and digitization.

Marieke Schwarz joined Orth Kluth as a lawyer in 2014 and was appointed Salary Partner in 2020.

She studied law at Rheinische Friedrich-Wilhelms University in Bonn and completed her legal clerkship in the district of the Cologne Higher Regional Court with stations at the Legal Department of the City of Aachen and the Administrative Court of Aachen, among others. She subsequently worked as a research assistant at the commercial law firm Gleiss Lutz. As certified administrative law specialist, she has special expertise in administrative law issues.
