Most experienced political observers in Berlin expect the advent of the new federal government to give a considerable boost to businesses, especially in the regulated transport and energy markets. “The transformation of transport and energy and the decarbonisation of industry will soon be an intense preoccupation for legislators, legal departments and specialised law firms,” predicts Dr Anselm Grün.
