Orth Kluth embarks on anniversary year 2022 with two new partners

Commercial law firm Orth Kluth welcomes two new partners at the outset of its anniversary year 2022. On 1 January 2022, 25 years after its foundation, the law partnership appointed two new salary partners: Alexander Falk, procurement law and public law expert, and Dr Michael Grobe-Einsler, IP/IT law and data privacy expert.

Alexander Falk is a public and procurement law legal consultant who joined Orth Kluth in 2016. He specialises in construction and environmental law, as well as substance and product law. Alexander Falk’s expertise in the transport sector make him a valued member of the Mobility Team that received the Juve Award 2021 as “Law Firm of the Year for Regulated Industries.”

Dr Michael Grobe-Einsler specialises in data protection law, including employee data protection, as well as IT and copyright law. His clients include international corporations and he is a member of the Audit & Investigations Team. Michael Grobe-Einsler has been a lawyer at Orth Kluth 2018.

The partnership commended the new partners’ valuable contribution to the law firm over recent years: “Alexander Falk and Michael Grobe-Einslers’ extensive knowledge, consultancy expertise and numerous successful clients perfectly complement our structure,” comments Dr Philipp Mels, Partner and IP/IT law specialist.

New Salary Partner Volker Herrmann comes from Taylor Wessing

The addition of a third salary partner, Volker Herrmann from Taylor Wessing, at the beginning of the year takes the number of salary partners at Orth Kluth up to 26. The law firm with offices in Düsseldorf and Berlin remains committed to cultivating the next generation of lawyers in its 25th year of business. “This strategy enables us to create a solid common basis for our success over the coming years and decades, and we will remain dedicated to it in our anniversary year 2022,” emphasises Equity Partner Dr Michael Sitsen, Public and Procurement Law practice group.
