Orth Kluth advises Konsumgenossenschaft Weimar eG on construction project Panoramablick Weimar

After four years of planning and construction, Konsumgenossenschaft Weimar eG has successfully completed a major real estate project in Weimar under the accompanying advice of Orth Kluth Rechtsanwälte. The building complex, named "Panoramablick", was handed over to the last tenants and the buyer last week. It is the largest private building project in Weimar in recent years.

The project development of the four-storey building comprises 3,000 m² of commercial space on the ground floor (for the tenants dm, Aldi Nord and kik) as well as low-barrier residential units for assisted living with care services and day care places on 6,200 m² of space on the other floors. Following its success as a supra-regional trading company for textiles and shoes, Konsumgenossenschaft Weimar eG is now also establishing itself as a successful project developer of residential and commercial buildings in Thuringia with the "Panoramablick".

Orth Kluth has provided comprehensive support to Konsumgenossenschaft Weimar eG
since the beginning of the project in 2017: starting with advice on the occasion of the architects' competition and the subsequent negotiations and conclusion of the planners' contracts, continuing with the negotiations of the construction contract for the civil engineering and special civil engineering works and the general contractor contract for the building construction with leading German construction groups.

In addition, the drafting of contracts by Orth Kluth for the letting of the property to the above-mentioned trading companies and the nationwide provider of assisted living were also part of the consultancy. Finally, Orth Kluth also accompanied the sale of the property to INP Invest GmbH for a special fund for capital investments in social and health care real estate.

Orth Kluth's construction and real estate law practice group regularly provides integrated advice to investors, project developers and property developers on the conception, financing, planning, realisation and marketing of real estate projects as well as their sale.
