On 26 March 2019, HAWE Hydraulik SE acquired HOERBIGER Automatisierungstechnik Holding GmbH. Completion will take place on May 1, 2019. The manufacturer of hydraulic components and systems will thus acquire several legally independent companies (including one company in China) at three locations as well as the associated product range from HOERBIGER Deutschland Holding GmbH. In 2018, the division generated sales of EUR 64 million with approximately 320 employees, which will be taken over by the HAWE Hydraulik Group.

This acquisition is an important strategic step for the HAWE Hydraulik Group in the 70th year of its existence to strengthen its market position as an innovative partner for hydraulic drives and mechatronic controls in more than 70 industries.

Orth Kluth provided legal advice to HAWE Hydraulik Group throughout the entire acquisition process and was involved in the contract negotiations, carried out the due diligence process in Germany and coordinated it locally in China with the support of cooperation partners.
