BackWerk’s new digital system combines fast, contactless payment and the collecting of bonus miles – per smartphone or via the BackWerk customer card. The use of the latest NFC technology extremely simplifies electronic payments, especially for regular customers. This new payment and loyalty system is supposed to be implemented by end 2017.

Orth Kluth has shaped the contractual relations between BackWerk and it’s franchise partners and the cooperating partners Qnips GmbH and solarisBank AG. Also, Orth Kluth advised on all legal matters during the introduction of the system, especially concerning distribution law, competition law and also concerning aspects such as money laundering.
