Orth Kluth's partnership continues its generic growth in the new year. On 1 January 2019, Dr Ulla Kelp, long-time Salary Partner in the IP/IT and Data Protection practice group, became Equity Partner and Manja Steinicke, lawyer in the Construction and Real Estate Law practice group, was appointed as Salary Partner.

Dr Ulla Kelp has been a lawyer with Orth Kluth since 2001 and salary partner since 2014.

Dr Ulla Kelp specialises in trademark, design and copyright law, competition law, patent and utility model law, the law of R&D/cooperation and license agreements, employee invention law as well as media, IT and data protection law.

Manja Steinicke advises in the fields of architect and engineering law, private construction law and construction litigation and project development. She joined Orth Kluth as a lawyer in 2014.

The share of female partners in Orth Kluth's equity partnership thus continues to grow to 18%. Among the salary partners, the proportion of female lawyers is now 50%.
