For the market study "kanzleimonitor.de" published by the Bundesverband der Unternehmensjuristen e.V. (BUJ). (BUJ), more than 5,000 in-house lawyers from companies of all sizes and from all sectors in Germany are surveyed annually - now in its fifth year. In particular, the survey examines which law firms are most frequently recommended by in-house lawyers for specific mandates to be handled outside their own legal department. The survey is thus based on the principle that recommendation by clients is the best reference.

In this year's Law Firm Monitor 2017/18, 930 companies provided 9,820 recommendations for law firms and their lawyers.

With a large number of positive recommendations, Orth Kluth landed in 41st place in the Top 100 evaluation, which we are very proud of! Measured by the number of recommendations, we even reach 34th place - which means that we have climbed up 10 places in this point compared to the previous year.

Numerous mentions and recommendations name us specifically for individual areas of law, in particular in employment law, intellectual property law, real estate and construction law, litigation and in the area of product liability. In contract law, Orth Kluth was the only law firm with less than 100 professionals to achieve a top ranking. Our new partner for corporate criminal law and compliance, Dr. Markus Berndt, is also ranked top.
