Prof. Dr. Kristoff Ritlewski LL.M.
Kristoff Ritlewski advises on trademark, copyright and competition law. He joined Orth Kluth as Of Counsel in 2017 and had previously worked for Harte-Bavendamm Rechtsanwälte in Hamburg from 2010 to 2014. Between 2014 and 2017, he also worked as a salary partner at Hertin & Partner in Berlin, specialising in trademark, competition and copyright law.
Kristoff Ritlewski had been appointed Counsel of the Centre for Transnational IP, Media and Technology Law and Policy at Bucerius Law School in Hamburg in 2008. Since 2019 he has held a professorship at the Berlin University of Economics and Technology (HTW Berlin). Before that, he was professor at the Osnabrück University of Applied Sciences for Private Business Law.
Before studying law at the Universities of Konstanz, Bucerius Law School Hamburg and Chicago-Kent College of Law (LL.M. in 2005), Kristoff Ritlewski attended the University of Music in Lübeck from 1995 to 1997. He wrote his thesis at the European Research Training Group at Johannes Gutenberg University and the universities of Mainz, Heidelberg and Krakow/Poland.
